EUROPEAN IDENTITY IN TIMES OF CRISIS

The ?European Identity in times of crisis?-project has been approved by the German Erasmus+ National Agency.
The project targets to integrate young and elder adults from disadvantaged educational environments, persons applying for asylum and increasingly those labelled as so-called "poverty migrants" from Europe into the respective societies' educational system. In each of the partner countries involved there are increasingly problems with the integration of those with to education. In the ?European Identity in times of crisis?-project partners look for common solutions to tackle this problem and aim to develop a recognizable European identity framework. First internal awareness is raised in the partner organisations and cultural European references are implemented in curricula and programs. Second regional analysis of social consequences of the European crisis ("normalcy classes") are executed and examined to be countered by innovative methods. Last the target groups are to be led to education and possibly graduation courses will follow. The project results will be available an open platform.
The ?European Identity in times of crisis?-project involves the following partners: Rahel Varnhagen Kolleg (DE), HF og VUC Fredericia (DK), Centro Comarcal Educaci?n Adultos Infante (ES), YOUTH AND LIFELONG LEARNING FOUNDATION (GR), Stichting EURICON (NL), T?V NORD Bildung GmbH & Co. KG (DE) and Abendgymnasium-Koeln.
